This month, we proudly launched the Edu Green Program 2025 at Mkenge Primary School in Bagamoyo, Pwani region- a major step forward in our ongoing mission to protect and celebrate the environment.
The event brought together students, teachers and partners for a vibrant day filled with learning, collaboration and action. With strong support from our dedicated partner - Arts in Tanzania, Association of Tanzanian Water Suppliers (ATAWAS) and Tanzania Forest Services Agency (TFS)- the launch was a true reflection of community spirit and our shared dedication to environmental sustainability.
One of the meaningful moments was planting trees with the students. This act symbolized not only our care for the enviroment but also our commitment to educating and empowering the next generation to be stewards of the planet.
The event also included the formation of the Mali Hai clubs- School based environmental groups where students will learn how to care and protect the trees , from planting to watering to understanding the longterm benefits trees bring to communities.
We extend our sincere thanks to all those who supported and participated in this special event , including the Tanzania Forest Services Agency (TFS) who provided tree seedlings and our sponsors who ensured all attendees were well taken care of.
